Jamie Robinson, CPA, CA (Treasurer)

Jamie has been on the Board since summer of 2025.I

She is new to the Rock and Roll Society of Edmonton, but is excited to support such a great team in bringing the gift of music to students.  Jamie’s worked closely with Boards previously in supporting internal controls and financial reporting, but this is my first official Board role. 

Jamie was motivated to get involved as a Board member because she’s been familiar with the work of the Society for some time, and wanted to share her expertise and experience by supporting our financial operations.

When asked to name her favourite local bands/musicians, she said “ I have a very eclectic musical play list, but love live music so much.  That is my favourite part of the work of the RRSE: brining the gift of live music to young Albertans!”

In Jamie’s opinion, the best rockstar of all time?

“My first concerts were Bryan Adams and Bon Jovi, which woke up my love of rock! My favorite Canadian bands of all time would be Matthew Good and The Hip. 

Asked to share the best quote that describes her outlook on life, Jamie says “I try to live my life with as few regrets as possible, so have made some "big swings" in my career and life!”
